Working in the Yard.

Jake is getting so big!

Jake kept licking the hose.

Mason and daddy giving hugs.

Today we decided to work out in the yard. It really needed the work too. I trimmed the rose bushes and the monstrous bushes we have by our walk way. I got into it so much that I even scraped my arms and legs all up. They look awful. lol. The kids helped us pick up all the sticks and branches and put them in daddy's truck. Brooklyn called her pile her "lection" (for her collection) too funny.

All the while Jake kept jumping around us stepping right in the way so we'd trip over him. The funniest thing Jake did was when he kept playing with the water that kept leaking out of a tiny hole in the hose. He'd lick it then jump all around and go back to lick it again. he was hilarious.

Easter fun!

Brook and her eggs.
The girls loved dying eggs together.

Easter Dress.

Mason wasn't too happy about this picture.

This year Easter was lots of fun for our family. Mason is finally able to appreciate what the Easter bunny gives him.

On Saturday, the kids and I went up to Sterling to see a friend get baptized. That was so great! After the baptism we went back to Grandma and Grandpa Mo's house to dye eggs. Brooklyn and Ashlyn had so much fun! Jer still works with his dad every Saturday, helping with plumbing jobs. Later, when the guys came home from working we all went to see Horton Hears A Who. That was such a cute movie. I was amazed that Mason bug actually sat through the whole movie this time.

Sunday morning the kids woke up to see their baskets! They were so excited. Mason was so happy to get his dinosaurs that he completely zoned out everything else. Forget looking for the hidden eggs. Nope! All he wanted was his dinos! He was too funny!
Brook on the other hand zoomed from one hidden egg to another. Soon she found them all. I guess the Easter Bunny is going to have to be more inventive with his hiding spots next year. haha.

Mason and his wonderful Dinosaurs!

Brooklyn and ALL of the easter eggs.

Happy Easter!

Its party time!

March 8th 2008- We went to Sterling to celebrate our nephew Logan's 1st birthday! He has the sweetest personality. We all got a big kick out of him eating his cake and opening presents. Mason couldn't wait to eat cake!

At first Logan wan't even sure if he should touch the cake but he soon figured out how fun it is.

Brooklyn and Ashlyn really really wanted to help him open his presents. It was just too hard to sit still while he opened them.
We all had lots of fun!!!

Finally, we have our car back!

Yesterday Jer took off work early to take me to Greeley. We've been waiting a long time to go get me glasses. Our car was in the shop for a good amount of that time. I was so happy to not be car-less anymore! Jer got off of work about noonish and we drove 1 1/2 hrs to Greeley. Luckily, I found my glasses quickly. (I'm not known to be the fastest decision maker) We placed the order and walked around the mall. I also found the perfect diamond wedding ring that I'm going to buy one day!!! Brooklyn cracked us up at one of the jewelry stores. She walked right up to the sale's lady and said "I don't have a wedding ring!" The lady said... "Thats because you need to be married." Brooklyn just looked at her and said "I'm going to marry my brother." We all laughed. Brook sure comes up with the funniest ideas.
After we left the mall jer noticed our car tires were dangerously low. I couldn't believe we drove all that way with them like that. We aired them up thank goodness and then went to Target to look around while we waited for my glasses to finish. We picked the glasses up then went to Texas road house for dinner. I left the restaurant with Mason while Jer paid the bill to change mason's diaper. Suddenly I saw Jer running out of the Road House with Brooklyn. They ran right into the bushes. I asked Jer what was going on and he said Brook really had to go potty but all the guys stalls were occupied. Two seconds later Jer's yelling for a wipey. He tried to make brook pee in the bushes but didn't make her sitt all the way down so she peed all over her bottom and his hand!!! That was the best laugh I've had in a long time. Jer told me, "Next time you take her." I said "sure. I'm a girl I know how we spray." haha. That may be TMI but it was hilarious!

Life in NorthEast Colorado

This week has been very busy. Jeremiah has been "on call" all week. That means he isn't able to go more than 15 miles away from his work. The weather was amazing Saturday! It was sunny and warm. Amanda and the kids came up. We had BBQ and went to the park. I loved it. The next day IT SNOWED!! Such is the weather here in North East Colorado.

Because our car is still in the shop I had to beg for a ride to church. I taught nursery. Brooklyn was very good in Sunbeams class. Our ward is a little backwards, we have Sacrament meeting last. Mason was in a mood by that time. I just gave up half way through. Its funny how much louder your kids seem in church than any other place.

I hope our leaders realize soon how much we need to have Sacrament first! The kids are all hyped up by the time we get to the meeting. Its now Tuesday and my car is STILL not fixed. But its much warmer outside. Weird Akron!
