Yep! I still think he's cute even when he looks like this. This is what I get when I try to get a sleepy baby used to staying awake more during the day time. (Me thinks he is as stubborn as his adorable father. :-))
Now that Cathy has gone back home, Jer and I decided that it would be a good idea to witch the kid's rooms around. We took apart Mason's bed and put him in Brooklyn's room again and gave Dallas his own room until he is sleeping better through the night. The kids' teachers have been complaining about Brook and Mase acting really tired this week. Honestly we are ALL really tired around here. It amazes me how much we forget when we have babies. I thought I'd remember a lot more especially since I have done this two times before but nope! I feel just as tired and lost as before. Ha ha!
This week my mom came out from Pennsylvania to help me with the kids. We celebrated Brooklyn's 6th Birthday the next day. Jer's parents and Aunt Molly were there too. I was pretty proud of Jeremiah for baking Brooky's cake. I can't believe I have a 6 year old. Looking at her newborn brother it is all too easy to remember how little Brooklyn used to be. Where does the time go?
Tuesday Dallas was one week old. He is already such a laid back boy. I finally realized after looking at old albums that he looks exactly like his big brother at this age. I can't wait to see what he'll be like in a year or so.
We are so excited to have our little guy home. He has been such a joy. He hardly ever cries and loves to just look around and take everything in around him. Brooklyn and Mason are so proud and excited to be his big sister and brother. They have really helped mommy out a lot!
Jer picked Mason bug up from school on his way home for lunch today. That made Mason's whole day, I'll tell you what! My favorite part was when Mase accidentally pulled the horn and scared the daylights out of himself! Priceless!
Jer's sister Shayla came and celebrated with us this new years. We played games, ate yummy food and had lots of fun. Of course Mason bug did not make it until midnight but surprisingly Brooky did! She was too funny when we played Sorry. She got such a kick out of bumping everybody back to start. Ha ha! We hope you all had a wonderful New Years and hope this new year brings lots of love and happiness!
