My baby boy turns 3!

Mason turned 3 on Saturday. Amanda and Dan and their family gave Mason a slip n slide. They played on it all day. It was really nice cause then Jer and I were able to go through all the rest of our bins from the garage. Now it is so organized. :o) Sunday morning Mason opened one present from mom and dad. We gave him a new shirt and tie for church. He is getting to be so big!

After church, we had presents and cake at Grandma and Grandpa Mo's house. Aunt Courtney gave Mase this cute outfit.

Grandma and Grandpa gave him a hunting set. It was really neat. It came with a truck, hunter and his son, a deer, tent and 4 wheeler.

Brooklyn, Jer and I also gave him a tool kit. This was badly needed since Mason kept getting into Jer's real tools in the garage. He loves it.

Right after he blew out the candle. Slow camera!

Yum! Messy face. Fun!

Introducing...

Today I had my first baby appointment for #3. That is what I am calling him/her until we find out for sure. The Dr. told me that #3 is doing very well. It's heartbeat is very strong. I drank a butt load of water on my way to the office. I was about to explode when the tech started pushing down on my belly for the ultrasound. Luckily I did not embarrass myself in front of her. I was surprised when she told me I am further along than I thought. I am actually 10 weeks and 5 days along. Our official due date is January 17, 2010! That is the day after Brooklyn's birthday. It sure does help to see the picture for it to sink in that I really am having another one.

After a couple uncomfortable tests, she sat down and told me how I am doing.
My first blood pressure results were just fine and the second time the Dr. took it she wasn't happy with how high it was. Now she wants me to take baby aspirin as well at my pill twice a day. I bought a blood pressure cuff for home and I am supposed to keep track of my numbers. If anything starts looking too high I was told to call her right away to change meds. I was very excited and scared at the same time. I told her about my bad reaction to the spinal with Mason and she told me that was a very common reaction and they will just give me an antihistamine to off set the reaction. Wonderful.

sorting and sorting

Jer and I were talking about all of the bins we have out in the garage. We decided we need to sort through them for a yard sale and to give to ARC. I have finally hit the huge pile of Brooklyn's and Mason's baby clothes. We probably have 6 bins full of clothes. I thought I'd go through them and pick out the clothes that were either too stained or too beat up to sell. The only problem is, every single piece has a memory with it. Spit up stains and all. It was all I could bare to pick even one thing out. Usually it was a onesie that maybe I didn't get around to putting on my kids. Isn't that horrible? I am getting even more excited about the new baby since going through some of these baby clothes. Girl or Boy, it doesn't matter. What a precious gift. I feel so lucky.

Father's Day!

This one is a little late posting. We have been so busy here. Well we celebrated father's day while we were in Denver the last weekend. My gifts to Jer were a card with bath and body works spray and shower gel. Jer also got himself a couple button down shirts the weekend before. That is amazing, because if you know Jer, he usually only wears t-shirts. I have been begging for years for him to get nicer ones. He looks so nice in them too. Ta da!

The gift from the kids is coming. It is a little late but at least it makes father's day last longer.
I am so grateful for my husband. He has been so wonderful with me and with the kids. He is like my right arm. Anytime I need help and he's around, he never hesitates to step in and give me support. No matter if its washing the dishes or helping me settle the kids down. I know I can count on him. I love him so much and he shows us that he loves us every day.
Thank you hun for everything. You are amazing!

Rockies Game!

Saturday the 20th we went to Denver with Courtney and mom and dad Smith. We were able to attend the temple at seven. It was my first time going to the Denver temple. It was very nice. We really need to make it a priority to go more often. It is wonderful to be able to leave the world behind for a couple of hours and feel so close to the Lord. Mom and dad went with us while Courtney watched the kids. Well actually the kids slept in until 9 so she didn't really have to watch them that much. When we got back Jer and I took the kids swimming with Courtney. They had so much fun! My kids would live in the pool if I let them.
Later that evening mom and dad went with us to the Rockies game. They played against Pittsburg. It rained before it started so we went under cover until it stopped. When we got back to our seats, I found a baseball under my seat! We sat right above the bull pen so I think it came from them practicing. Cool!

Here is a pitcher warming up. we had great seats!

Pittsburg is up to bat. The game stayed pretty much tied until the end when I thought we might lose.

Then the Rockies got a home run! We won the game at the last minute! That was exciting. Every time a home run was hit, the fountains would spray up. So awesome!

walk and bike ride...

Its Summer weather! I finally took the kids out for a walk/bike ride on the 18th. We walked all over. To the post office, Duck walls, the fair grounds. We even stopped and got a sandwich for lunch at Corner Stone. By the time we were on our way home poor Brook kept saying how tired her legs and feet were. I think I may have pushed her too far today. She did tell me it was the best day in her whole life though. So at least she had fun. She cracks me up. :o)

A birthday surprise!

It is true. We are expecting baby number 3! We are thrilled too. After getting sick off and on during our family trip to Colorado Springs, I decided I should probably take a pregnancy test. I really didn't think it would be positive since my body has been so off lately. Jer thought the tests were quite expensive and told me that we should only test once and not waist any more. I tested and it was YES! Jer was in the other room and didn't know. When I came out I put on the saddest face I could muster. I asked him for a hug. He said sorry. Then I said "Well, at least we only needed one test." Then I whipped it out of my pocket and said "Because it is positive!" Ha ha it was so funny. He was shocked!
Looks like was are looking at a birth day around February.
Jer said that was the most expensive Birthday gift I'll ever get. lol.

T-ball game!

Almost hit it babe! Try again.
Run Run Run Brook! All the way to the home plate!

Yesterday was Brooklyn's first t-ball game. It wasn't the first scheduled but because the weather has been so bad it was the first one with nice weather. She was so cute in her uniform and pink glove!

Disney's A Christmas Carol Train!

This was so awesome! I am so glad Steve and Jillian knew about this. It was a train to promote Disney's new movie A Christmas Carol in 3D. The train was 6 cars long and so was the line. Once inside the train there were walls of plasma screens showing each step on how they made the movie and Characters. At then end car you could scan your face onto the computer and it would morph it into a Bob Marley Ghost face or Tiny Tim. SO Cool!

After the train we went into this building to watch a 3D trailer of the movie. Brooklyn kept trying to catch the snow cause it looked like it was coming out at us.

Christmas Carolers sang while we waited. They even had artificial snow.

Real Charles Dickens's Books.
A mock up of the Big Ben.

Look at the details. I wasn't sure of Jim Carey as Scrooge but he did a great job!

3D glasses on.

The girls ready to watch.

Santa's Workshop

Friday June 12th Today we went to Santa's workshop. It was so fun for the kids. I thought the little village was adorable with all the shops and workers dressed like elves. A few of us managed to get sick after too many turns on the tilt a whirl though. Ick!

This was one neat slide!

Jer and I on the sky ride.

Brook and Ashlyn with Santa.

Smith Reunion in Colo. Springs

Saturday June 6th Amanda and her family with mom and dad smith and Courtney and Shayla came to our house for a BBQ and hang out.

Here is Kennedy. What a cutie.

Its swimming time!

June 10th at the Colorado Springs Zoo! This has got to be one of the best zoos we've been to so far. The Giraffes ate crackers out of our hands and their tongues were so slimy and long!

The cousins

Umm... Where did you get that Wallaby?

Shake your tail feathers!

Jer and I in a giant chair. Fun!

back blues

Sorry I have been missing lately. I hurt my back last Sunday picking Mason up to sit on the potty. I have no idea how it happened but I wasn't able to bend over or pick anything up all week. I am just now starting to feel a little better. Thank goodness for heating pads. Jer has been a big help to me all week. I am so thankful for wonderful husbands.
