I want these...

I love the pull over bibs! I have one dinosaur print bib left that we got for Mason. It was so nice because the baby can't pull it off.

A surprise visit!

Because Jer's grandmas aren't doing too well lately, Jer's sister Jillian decided to drive the 10+ hours from Idaho to visit them. She and Addison stopped in Sterling last night and the kids and I drove up to visit.
It has been such a long time since I saw my little niece Addison. She is walking now and such a happy girl. The kids loved dog piling Aunt Jills and Addi wanted in on the fun!
Thank goodness she wasn't poopy. Ha ha!

I just can't help it

I just can't take enough pictures of the kids lately. I keep feeling like they are growing way too fast and I don't want to miss one moment. Whether I get to scrapbook all these pictures is something I'm not sure of. At the very least we'll have them to flip through on the computer.
Here's my boys. I thought they looked cute today.
Dallas baby giving momma huge grins!

All three of them. These kids light up my days!

Jamie's pictures

After church, my cousins came to my in-law's house for lunch. Jamie is an amazing photographer. She snapped these pictures for us. I think it was the first time we had our pictures taken by a professional since our wedding. Sad but true.
Thank you so much Jamie!!!

Denver Aquarium

Yesterday we went to the Denver Aquarium with Jer's sister Amanda and her family, Shayla and Jer's mom and dad. The kids had a blast looking at all the fish! Dallas slept in the sling most of the time which made it easy too. Here are some pictures for you to enjoy!Dallas giving his otter loves.

Okay this post is backwards but I wanted to post about Logan's birthday party we celebrated on Saturday.
Amanda made him better than anything cake and it was SO yummy! Here Brooklyn is telling Loggie that she drew him a picture on his card.
Logan was hilarious! He called this his Jesus sword. Cute!

Baby Blessing!

Our baby boy Dallas Bryant Smith

The Burt family: Dan, Amanda, Ashlyn, Logan and Kennedy

My Cousins the Bailey Family: Ryan, Jamie, Emma, Marta, and Jane

Mom and Dad Smith, Courtney and Shayla

We were so blessed to be able to bless little Dallas on Sunday. Grandma Bailey made us his blessing blanket. We had almost all of Jer's family there. (Jillian and her family couldn't come). My parents weren't able to come but my cousin's family was present. I loved seeing all of the little cousins play together! They were so cute.
The blessing itself went smoothly after a little flustering in the beginning.
Here is what was said for those who weren't able to hear it:
Dallas Bryant Smith
Bless you to be able to grow strong. To be able to gain knowledge of this world and to be of good health.
Bless you to have callings in the church and be a leader.
Bless you to be an example to others both in and outside of the church.
Bless you to serve a mission one day and influence those looking into the church.
You will be able to handle trials handed to you.
It never fails to amaze me how amazing these priesthood blessings are. Each time I hear or am given one it reconfirms to me just how much our Father in Heaven loves us so much!

2 months old already?!

Our little Dalli llama
2 month old update
23 inches long
wearing 3-6 month clothes
favorites: listening to music, sitting up, car rides, talking, slobbering and making bubbles
dislikes: not getting his bottle fast enough, being held down and cold baby wipes

Dallas has been our little ball of joy. He is always ready for a smile and coo whenever he gets attention. Brooklyn and Mason love giving him tons of hugs and kisses. He has been such a great addition to the family!

Go Aunt Shayla!

This weekend Jer's sister Shayla was in Denver competing in a Cheer competition. We decided to surprise her and went to see her. I loved watching all of the tiny cheer babies all glittered up. It felt like I walked into an episode of little miss perfect with all of the cheer mommies urging their girls to jump higher or poof their hair bigger. hehe! Shayla's team did SO well! I am amazed at all the things this girl can do. Brooklyn was so excited! Every time a group went up that was wearing black she yelled, GO SHAYLA! We had to keep telling her no, not yet, two more to go. It was so cute that she soaked it all in. I got a big laugh out of my two kiddos trying to copy the cheer leaders. They kept trying to cartwheel and jump around. I see cheer leading in Brook's future maybe.

Guilty Pleasures

Lately, to get away and have a little alone time I've been reading or watching movies on Netflix. My latest obsession is the book called North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell. I don't have the time or the energy to read anything that requires too much study except my scriptures so I've been reading mainly for pleasure. This book was so great! I loved it with all its layers of drama and tension. Of course I did stay up way too late one night to finish it, and paid a price for that the next day. It was worth it though.

Many of you know us and know that we LOVE to watch movies as a family. Now that we have small children it is nearly impossible to find someone to watch the kids while we make it to the theater let alone too expensive. That is why I can't say enough about Netflix! We love that we can get comfy, snuggle up with the kids or just us two (while the kids play in another room) and step into another world for an hour or two.
One of the more recent flicks we've watched was Love Happens we loved it. I highly recommend it to all of you.
