Someone make time stop!

Yes the sad day has come. This is Brooklyn's kindergarten registration form. When did she get so big?

Its a bird. Its a plane. Its Super Purse Man!

Oh the funny things my kids come up with!

Brooklyn and Mason were playing in their rooms while Jer and I were watching Flash of Genius. Suddenly Mason came running in wearing some of Brook's dress up clothes! Oh man was that a good laugh.

I am so proud!

This morning I was getting Mason ready for the day and I realized his diaper was dry. We ran to the potty and Mason went pee for the first time in the potty!!! Yay Bug!!! Jer and I clapped and cheered. He was so happy to get a sticker too. My little boy is growing up. I couldn't pass up this post. Especially since I've been trying to get Mason to go potty for weeks now. Maybe I won't have to wait until Brook is done with school for the summer. Maybe he'll be potty trained before that!

It has finally arrived!!!

Our new computer!!! I have waited for this day for so long! I love it too. The screen is twice the size of our old computer. I finally feel part of the world again. I was exiled for a few weeks. :o) Hello world!

Dr. Suess day!

Its was Dr. Seuss day at Brooklyn's school! They came in with their cat in the hat hats that they made. They were so cute! We played outside after we read Dr. Seuss books and Mason and I stayed for lunch. Brooklyn loved that we were there! I can't believe that a couple more weeks and Brook will be done with preschool.

Go fly a kite!

Last night for Family Home Evening we took our kite out. Poor Jer ran and ran but it never stayed up. Brook sure had a big time with it though. We had to shorten the line since it just kept dragging on the ground. So funny!

April Shower!

Today I was so excited to finally get out of the house on my own for a few hours! I was invited to a baby shower of a lady from our ward. I even won a prize! I never win anything. Of course my friend was a huge trooper because the game we played was guess how big her baby belly is by measuring out a piece of yarn. You couldn't pay me to do that one. She is a much more emotionally secure woman than I. Even though I didn't know more than 4-5 people there and only knew the names of a couple. It was so relaxing not to have to constantly look over my shoulder at what my kids were getting into. I'm going to have to make up baby showers and parties every month just so Jer will watch the kids for a couple hours or so. :o)

Baseball with my boys...

This morning Jer went and hit the ball with Mason out in the back yard. I was really surprised at how well Mason hit it. Guess we are going to have to sign him up for t-ball soon!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone!

We sure had fun this year. The kids and I dyed eggs on Saturday. Dad was sick this weekend. He was sure a trooper for joining us and taking some pictures for me. We had a little lesson on the true meaning of Easter after decorating eggs. I had 6 plastic eggs with a clue inside that tells a part of the Easter story. The kids loved the empty egg at the end that represented the empty tomb and the Savior Lives! Sunday morning the kids woke up to their baskets and one toy each and a couple books. It was a hoot watching them look for their eggs. Mase kept stopping after each one and showing us. Brook was such a good sister she could have hogged them all but she made sure Mason got an even amount of eggs. I loved finding Brook's dress this year. I loved it as soon as I saw it! It even had sleeves! Miracle!!!

Visiting daddy's work!

Today I took the kids to watch Jer work at the pole yard. He had his big truck and they sure loved watching him unload the transformers! Jer let Brook use the remote and she was so excited. Mason was too scared to try but that's okay. It really was a big machine. I don't know how Jer works with it every day and doesn't tear things apart with it. I would! Ha ha ha.

A day in the yard

Yesterday was such a nice day! The kids and I spent almost all day out in the back yard. We picked up all the tumbleweeds and sticks. I cleaned out Fred's cage and we held him for a while. Then we had snacks and played around. The kids loved making "pies" and raked the leaves. (more like spread them all over the place :o) )

Go speed racer!!

Raking the yard.

Catching up!

I have been trying to catch up with my scrapbooks for years now. Yesterday I finally made a little dent. Our family book is finally caught up to March 2007, Mason's book is up to 9 months and Brooklyn's is her 4th birthday. Holy cow I've got so much more to do!

Tub Trouble!

Sometimes it feels like when it rains, it pours...
That is how I felt today after I took a shower and tried to turn off our water. It wouldn't turn off! I just about freaked. I called Jer who had me call town hall who told me to call the owner's sons. Meanwhile Jer's work partner called a buddy who knows a guy who was going to come right away to turn it off. He forgot until I called him to remind him. Meanwhile I filled up all the jugs and pitchers I could get my hands on because who knows when it will get fixed! Yay for days like this! One cute thing that happened was Brooklyn asked me if she could help. I told her to go say a prayer. She walked into the living room knelt down and said such a sweet prayer. She said Heavenly Father, please turn off the water and help us find a new house. Ha ha ha! Such a cutie!
