Saturday the 20th we went to Denver with Courtney and mom and dad Smith. We were able to attend the temple at seven. It was my first time going to the Denver temple. It was very nice. We really need to make it a priority to go more often. It is wonderful to be able to leave the world behind for a couple of hours and feel so close to the Lord.
Mom and dad went with us while Courtney watched the kids. Well actually the kids slept in until 9 so she didn't really have to watch them that much. When we got back Jer and I took the kids swimming with Courtney. They had so much fun! My kids would live in the pool if I let them.
Later that evening mom and dad went with us to the Rockies game. They played against Pittsburg. It rained before it started so we went under cover until it stopped. When we got back to our seats, I found a baseball under my seat! We sat right above the bull pen so I think it came from them practicing. Cool!
Here is a pitcher warming up. we had great seats!
Pittsburg is up to bat. The game stayed pretty much tied until the end when I thought we might lose.
Then the Rockies got a home run! We won the game at the last minute! That was exciting. Every time a home run was hit, the fountains would spray up. So awesome!

Nothin' like a temple session and a baseball game!!!
Are you a baseball person? I'm not at all, I've been to a few minor league games and we went to see the Braves in Atlanta the last time we were there. I thought that game would never end, I was so bored. But Tyler loved it, then again he loves baseball...I would only go again for the cotton candy (I didn't even get that at the Braves game..uggh! :))
I thought it was fun. It got slow at points but it kept picking up or nice play would happen. I just like sports if they are live. i can't watch anything on tv. The popcorn was amazing though.
