This week has been a tough one. As soon as we got home from the Valley
Jer got a phone call from the Electric Company in
Heyburn, Idaho. The boss (Dan) wanted
Jer to drive up as soon as possible for an interview. They were only interviewing 3 candidates so we really felt like
jer had a good shot.
Jer left really early Thursday morning and after 12 hours of gruelling driving and no sleep,
Jer had the interview at about 4pm.
Jer was confident that the interview went well. They even offered to pay us back for the gas money
Jer spent to make the trip.
Yay! This morning Dan called to tell us that it was a really close call. They wished they could hire all three but
jer didn't get the job. He wants to keep
Jer's resume just in case though.
Jer's call this morning was pretty tough to take. I guess we really didn't realize how much we both wanted this job and move. We aren't giving up though. It felt right so we are going to keep on applying and looking. Eventually.

Heyburn and the snake river.
