June- Potter Party!

While Ashlyn was visiting, we decided to have a Harry Potter Party! Ashlyn had never seen ANY Harry Potter movies so we wanted to make it special for her. I bought pretzel sticks for wands, a chocolate truffle for a golden snitch and we drank some butter beer.

Then we sat down and watched the 1st movie. The next day we saw movie two and only part of movie three. I was so excited to be able to relive the magic of seeing these movies for the first time through her eyes.

June- Girl's week with Courtney and Preston!

The girls sure had fun! They planted flowers, saw the train, cooked, went to the sand dunes, and rode on 4-wheelers! They just loved it and most of all being together!

June- getting the big girls back

We met at Fargos Pizza in Colo. Springs to pick up the girls! They had quite an adventure with tires not working properly. We were sure glad they and Courtney made it safely. We ate good pizza, Met Aunt Molly at a park for a bit then went shopping to help Courtney find new work clothes for her new job position! It was fun times!

June- Big boy bike!

Jer fixed up Mason's old training wheel bike so dallas can ride on a big boy bike. He did so good!

May visit to valley with sisters

Amanda, Jillian and I drove down to the valley to drop the oldest girls off with their Aunt Courtney and Uncle Preston. While we were there, we visited with Grandpa and saw the cemetary. It was a quick trip. A tiring trip and fun. Oh and Amanda had a scare and had to go to the hospital. When we drove back to Sterling, she got her Gall bladder out. holy cow!

Mason's little scare!

Well, Mason was kicked between the legs by his little brother the night before. Poor guy was in a lot of pain. I took him to the Clinic, which sent me to the hospital for an ultrasound, which referred us to a Urologist in Greeley. We were really afraid of lack of blood flow so we zoomed to Greeley! They checked him into the hospital and he had yet another ultrasound. Luckily he looked better than they thought and after a very long night we were released. We went to get a quick bite to eat on the road home and poor mason threw it up. He took it easy the next week and all looks well. I had absolutely no idea that it was so terribly dangerous to get hit in that particular area for a boy. I sure do learn something new every day on this journey of parenthood.
