Pictures from Grandma

My Grandma Bailey found some more pictures of me as a baby. I just feel so grateful to her for sending me these. I don't have any of my own. It was really thoughtful of her to do.

This is me at 3 1/2 weeks old in the High Risk Unit in Houston, TX.
Here I am home at last at 5 1/2 weeks old. Look how small I am compared to my dad's hand.
I am about 3 or 4 in this picture. At first glance I really thought this was Brooklyn at first. This is really special because my Grandma made this baby dress for me since I was a preemie. After I grew out of it I used to put it on my dolls and play with them. Now Brooklyn has the same dress on her doll today.
Thank you Grandma for all of your love and for thinking of me. You are so sweet!

Family visit!

The little boys and their trucks.Aunt Shayla giving rides.
Mason playing around down the slide.

Bath time with the cousins.

Addison on the rocking horse.

This last week Jer's family came for a visit! It was so nice to be together. The cousins really enjoyed being together. I loved seeing my nieces and nephew that I haven't seen in a long time and one that I'd just met for the first time! It felt so good for me to be with my sisters. I truly feel like Amanda, Jill, Courtney and Shayla are my sisters. It was nice getting hair tips and being together. I never knew what I was missing until I became a part of my husband's family. I love them all so much! bickering and all. ;o)

After picking Brooky up from school, she announced that she wanted to go for a walk outside. I thought a bike ride might be nice. SOOO we bundled up and brook rode while I pushed mason in the stroller. It was so WINDY!

Here is Brook on her bike!
Mason patiently waiting to go.

And we are off!
Half way around.

We Surround Them

March 13th on FOX News 5pm ET Glenn Beck and others will be speaking!

Do you watch the direction that America is being taken in and feel powerless to stop it? Do you believe that your voice isn’t loud enough to be heard above the noise anymore? Do you read the headlines everyday and feel an empty pit in your stomach…as if you’re completely alone? If so, then you’ve fallen for the Wizard of Oz lie. While the voices you hear in the distance may sound intimidating, as if they surround us from all sides—the reality is very different. Once you pull the curtain away you realize that there are only a few people pressing the buttons, and their voices are weak. The truth is that they don’t surround us at all.
We surround them.

So, how do we show America what’s really behind the curtain? Below are nine simple principles. If you believe in at least seven of them, then we have something in common. I urge you to read the instructions at the end for how to help make your voice heard.

The Nine Principles

1. America is good.

2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.

3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.

4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.

5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.

6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.

7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.

8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.

9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.

12 Values

Honesty

Reverence

Hope

Thrift

Humility

Charity

Sincerity

Moderation

Hard Work

Courage

Personal Responsibility

Friendship

You Are Not Alone

If you agree with at least seven of those principles, then you are not alone. Please send a digital version of your picture to: wesurroundthem@foxnews.com and then stay tuned to the radio and television shows over the coming weeks to see how we intend to pull back the curtain.

Can't sleep

Restlessness. Nothing that a hot cup of peppermint tea can't cure.

Last night Jer and I started something new. One night he'll read the Book of Mormon in Spanish while I follow along in English, then we will switch.
Tonight it was my turn to read in Spanish. Let me tell you, I am rusty! I know that I can still pick out words and piece together the meanings. We kept laughing at my pronunciations and misinterpretations. Uggg! I just hope that by the end of the whole book I will have learned how to at least read it the right way.
It is nice to read the scriptures together again. My family used to read the scriptures in Spanish when I was little. My dad went on a mission for the church to Ecuador when he was 19. I love it that my dad and my husband can both speak Spanish. I'm hoping to get good enough to help teach our children one day. That will be a miracle!

Its starting to feel like spring!

The weather has been so nice here lately. It definitely feels like spring! Last night we took the kids outside with Fred, we lit the torches and sat back and relaxed while the kids played. It was so nice. Last night made us excited for camp outs in the back yard to come! Counting down until Summer! Yay!

Our sick but not enough girl...

Brooky's been coming down with something this past week. I can always tell whenever her teacher tells me that she's been weepy at school. Its my little red flag that Brook is getting sick. *sigh*
This morning I decided to stay home with Brooky since she had a fever. Jer went to church. Wouldn't ya know it he bore his testimony when I wasn't there. Stink butt!

Later on, after Motrin and a bath she started feeling so well that she wanted to play wii. Of Course! I made her relax until Jer got home, then we played for a bit. It amazes me how good she is at only 5.

Here's brook feeling a little better.

My little bowling pro. Seriously she is better than me at it.

Mason bug and daddy after he got up from his nap.

My tough stuff man!

Hahaha Brooklyn split her pants!
